Randle’s Restaurant and Bar, the downtown Minneapolis eatery named after Minnesota Vikings legend John Randle, has been rented out by the team for the week of Super Bowl LII.
Randle’s owner Michael McDermott, whose other restaurants include Rojo Mexican Grill and Tavern 23, said the Vikings have rented the space for the Super Bowl and the six days prior. Event details are being ironed out, but the Vikings will use the space to host business partners and celebrities throughout the week.
“They will entertain a lot of their clients and VIPs,” McDermott said. “It will be the main entertainment headquarters for the Vikings during the Super Bowl.”
The Houston Texans did something similar last year, renting The Grove restaurant in Houston during the 2017 Super Bowl.Read more on the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal
